Black Garlic Herb Cream Cheese
Garlic and Herb Cream Cheese
This cream cheese is a great snack that can accompany with crackers, bread or toast, bagels, or even as a part of appetizers. It takes ridiculously little time to make, but you will need a garlic press to properly crush garlic and thus fully unlock the allure of the cream. Though common garlic, an ingredient vital to the taste of the dish, is tasty enough already, black garlic adds more depth to the cream and take its flavor to the next level.
1 stick butter, softened
220 grams package cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves black garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
- Mix together the ingredients in a bowl until evenly combined.
- Store in refrigerator for 8 hours at least before serving. The cream can be frozen for long-term storage.
